- Bio: My name is Angelica Creixell and I from Mexico. Although I had never worked in education sector, until this past summer, I have always been passionate about the subject. As an Economics student, I did my undergrad thesis about teachers' education levels in Mexico and was astonished by the lack of quality universities and colleges available. At SIPA, I have taken education policy classes to broaden my knowledge about the subject but mostly about K-12, so I would like to expand this. Once I finish, I want to find a job in the education sector, either in a start up or nonprofit. I wish to learn about higher education policy, its successes and failures, from various contexts and situations in order to gain knowledge and understand the challenges it faces. I want to gain perspective about higher education and the different spheres that it touches through thoughtful and guided discussions. Lastly, I wish to be able to apply what I learn to the Mexican case.
