Artists for Democracy (AFD) was founded on May 6th, l974 in London, to organize the Arts Festival for Democracy in Chile and other projects of solidarity with people’s struggles around the world. The Museo de la Memoria y los Derechos Humanos, (Museum of Memory and Human Rights) and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (National Museum of Fine Arts) in Santiago are presenting an exhibition to memorialize AFD: Artists for Democracy, The Archive of Cecilia Vicuña
