CTL for Faculty
Teaching at one of the great universities in the country can present many unique opportunities and challenges. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is here to support faculty in their work and professional development.
CTL programs and services are grounded in teaching and learning scholarship, allowing faculty to explore, experiment, and reflect on their teaching practice. Faculty are introduced to innovative pedagogies and novel approaches to instructional technologies for integration into the classroom. The CTL encourages a learner-centered view of teaching Columbia students, and models and promotes teaching practices that cultivate inclusive and equitable learning environments.
