The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) has issued a new version of its self-paced, online Introduction to CourseWorks (Canvas) course.
Protection of Children in Humanitarian Settings: Columbia University Launches Open Online Course
NEW YORK, New York, August 21, 2019 — Columbia University has released the open online course Protection of Children in Humanitarian Settings with Hanna-Tina Fischer, Mark Canavera and Mike Wessells. The course is free and open to all on edx.org with an optional paid verified certificate program.
Register for Fall Intro to CourseWorks (Canvas) Workshops!
Participants will learn how to set up their courses in Canvas to promote learning, streamline their teaching, make available and organize course content, communicate expectations to their students, encourage student engagement and interaction, and assess student learning.

On June 26, 2019, the Columbia University Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will launch the first ever MOOC (massive open online course) dedicated entirely to the topic of inclusive teaching in higher education.
